Ingredients
- 3 cups cornbread stuffing mix
- 14/75 oz. can creamed corn
- 1/2 cup canned diced green chiles, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/8 tea. pepper
- melted butter as needed
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2 qt. casserole dish and set aside.
Combine all of the ingredients, except the melted butter in a large bowl, tossing them together until well mixed. If a moister stuffing is desired, add melted butter.
Transfer stuffing to the prepared dish, cover and bake for 20-30 minutes, or until heated through. If a crisp top is desired, uncover the dish and bake for 10 additional minutes.
