Quick Summer Fruit Shortcake

Ingredients

  • 1 pint strawberries, cleaned and hulled, quartered
  • 1 cup grapes, seedless, cleaned and halved
  • 2 peaches, diced
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 4 slices angel food cake

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine berries, grapes, peaches, sugar and orange juice in a large bowl. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate for 20 minutes.

2. Put one slice of cake on each plate, then portion the fruit and juices from the bowl on top of each slice of cake. Serve.
