Ingredients

    bunch of fresh basil, stems removed (about 2 cups packed leaves)

  • 3

    tablespoons pine nuts

  • 1

    tablespoon olive oil

  • 2

    garlic cloves, crushed

  • ¼

    teaspoon salt

  • 2

    tablespoons water

  • ½

    cup +2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

In a food processor or blender, combine basil, pine nuts, oil, garlic, salt and water; purée. Add cheese purée 30 seconds.
