Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tblsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. chopped dates
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- I usually double recipe.
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour and salt and set aside. Cream butter and gradually add sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Stir in flour. Blend in dates and nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place about 3" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees 20 minutes until light brown. While still warm, roll in conf. sugar.
