  • Macaroni type of your choice
  • 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • Milk
  • Block of cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Step 1

Cook macaroni according to box directions. Drain.
In sauce pot, melt 3 tablespoons of butter with 3 tablespoons of flour on medium heat until it is a paste. Start off with about 1/2 cup milk and let come to a boil on medium high heat stirring constantly. It will start to thicken. Start adding cheese, a little salt and pepper and more milk until it is the consistency you
like, not too thick or thin. Mix sauce with cooked macaroni into a greased casserole dish. Cook at 350 for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
