Sauerkrout Balls (Linda)

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. jar sauerkraut
  • 1 lb. ground sausage (Jimmy Dean spicy)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Set oven to 400 degrees
Spray cookie sheet

Drain krout
Combine all ingredients and roll into 1" balls
Place in cookie sheet, bake for 30 minutes/ turn at 15 min.
Or coat in breadcrumbs and deep fry.
Serve with cocktail sauce or ketchup.
Can be made ahead and frozen or reheated.
