Sugar Cookies (The Best Soft Cookie)

Ingredients

• 1 & 3/4 C. sugar
• 1 C. butter flavor shortening sticks
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 tsp. salt
• 4 C. flour, sifted
• 1 sp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1 C. sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar & shortening. Add eggs, vanilla, & salt. Mix dry ingredients & add altenately to sugar mixture with the sour cream. Chill 1-3 hrs. Roll out. Cut. Sprinkle with sugar Bake for 10 mins. at 350 degrees or til done.



Yield: 4-5 dozen
