Notes: I changed Judy's recipe slightly to fit our taste. The original recipe calls for 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup white vinegar. It also calls for 5 minutes total microwave time. That wasn't long enough in my microwave.

Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber, sliced 1/4" thick
- 1 medium sweet onions, sliced 1/8" thick
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
Slice cucumber and onion into a 2 quart microwavable bowl. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over cucumbers.
Microwave, uncovered, at 80% for 5 minutes. Stir. Microwave for another 5 minutes or until cukes are crisp tender.
Cool and then chill in the refrigerator.
