Ingredients
- 1 pkg ( 2 layer size) yellow cake mix
- 2 C cold milk
- 1-1/4 C water
- 2 pkgs (4 servings each) lemon flavor instant pudding
- 1/3 C sugar
- 2 T 10x sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Pour milk & water into a large bowl. Add dry pudding mixes & sugar. Beat with a wire whisk 2 mins or until well blended. Pour pudding mixture over cake batter. Place baking dish on a baking sheet to catch drippings, as mixture does bubble when baking. Bake 55-60 mins, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. Mixture will thicken slightly as it cools. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Spoon onto serving dishes. Serve warm. Garnish with berries. This is also goos cold. The lemon filling transforms from saucy & gooey to custard like.
