Ingredients

  • 4

pork loin blade, rib, or sirloin chops, each cut 3/4 inch thick

  • 1

    Tbsp. all-purpose flour

  • 1

    Tbsp. Salad Oil

  • 1

    medium onion, diced

  • 3/4

    cup water

  • 1

    tsp. salt

  • 1/8

    tsp. pepper

  • 1/2

    8 oz. container sour cream

  • 2

    tsp. ketchup

Directions

About 40 minutes before serving: Coat pork chops with flour. In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot salad oil, cook pork chops and onion until meat is well browned on both sides. Add water, salt, and pepper; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until pork chops are fork-tender. Skim off fat from liquid; stir in sour cream and ketchup; heat through (do not boil).
