Ingredients
- Melt:
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- Add:
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 cup coconut (Angel Flake), cut fine
- 1 cup nuts (pecans), chopped fine
- 1 1/2 packages powdered sugar
- Dip in:
- 1/4 pound wax (1 cake)
- 2 packages chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter and place in large mixing bowl.
Add milk, coconut, nuts and powdered sugar. Stir until well mixed. Will be very thick. Shape into balls. Place on wax paper.
Melt wax in double boiler. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
Using toothpicks, dip coconut balls into chocolate and place on wax paper. Fill toothpick holes with chocolate.
Note:
Stuff center of balls with maricino cherries before dipping in cocolate for chocolate covered cherries.
