  • 3 lbs ground chuck or hamburger
  • 1-2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 pkg sloppy joe seasoning mix
  • Salt to taste

Step 1

Brown ground meat in skillet; pour into colander and rinse well. Put into crockpot- add onions, green pepper, tomato sauce, water and seasonings. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours. (High: 3-4 hours)
