Thai Chicken Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Instructions:
1.Over medium heat, heat the oil in a frying pan.
2.Cut the chicken into 1 inch pieces.
3.Whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl, except the chicken, until well incorporated. It will be a pretty thick batter.
4.Dip the chicken pieces in the batter one at a time and place into the frying pan, do not overcrowd. Fry until golden brown.
5.Remove from oil and drain.
6.Transfer the chicken bites onto another plate and drizzle with sweet red chili sauce.
7.Garnish with chives if preferred.
