Ingredients

    pkg. cook and serve chocolate pudding

  • 2

    c. milk

  • 1

    pkg. chocolate cake mix

  • Sauce: 1/2 c. butter or margarine

  • 1

    c. (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1

    can (12 oz.) evaporated milk

  • 2

    c. powdered sugar

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla

Directions

In saucepan or microwave, prepare pudding with milk according to pkg. directions for pudding. Pour into mixing bowl; add dry cake mix and beat until well blended. Spread into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 min. Cool on wire rack. For sauce: in heavy saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Stir in evaporated milk and sugar until smooth. Bring to boil over med. heat; cook and stir for 8 min. or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve warm sauce over cake.
