Grandma June Pickles

Bread and butter pickles

Ingredients

  • 1 quart polish dill pickles
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbsp pickling spice tied in a bag

Preparation

Step 1

Slice, rinse and drain pickles

Combine sugar and vinegar, stir to dissolve, add pickling spice and bring to a boil.

Boil for five minutes.

Remove from heat and add pickles.

Let stand at least overnight in the refrigerator
