  • 1.5 lbs. potatoes, cut in half
  • 3 slices of bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1/2 C vinegar

Step 1

Heat salted water to boiling add potatoes cover and cook 20 minutes. Fry bacon until crisp. drain bacon. cook onion in bacon pan until tender. Store stir in flour sugar salt celery seed. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly. remove from heat stir in water and vinegar. heat to boiling stirring constantly boil and stir one minute remove
