Quick Mushroom Sauce

Fondue. Double the recipe for 13. in 2011 added 2 minced garlic.

Ingredients

  • 2 T butter, melted in saucepan
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 T flour
  • 1 t soy sauce
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Saute mushrooms briefly in melted butter. Add flour, toss to coat mushrooms. Cook 8-10 minutes over medium heat. Stir in soy sauce and cream; cook until thickened. Serve hot or cold.
