Ingredients
- 6 chicken breast filets
- salt and peper to taste
- 6 slices prosciutto
- 12 slices thin sliced Swiss cheese
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup dry Italian bread crumbs OR Ritz crackers OR dry stuffing mix
- 3 T butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Place chicken breasts in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top each breast with a slice of prosciutto and 2 slices swiss cheese.
Mix together the soup and sour cream and pour mixture over chicken. Mix together melted butter and bread crumbs and pour over soup mixture. Bake covered in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 20 minutes or until golden brown.
