Ingredients
- Eggnog filling:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 whole egg and 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 egg white, slightly beaten
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp milk
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1/4 tsp rum extract

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375....bake 10 minutes
Mix flour and nutmeg, set aside.
Beat 3/4 cup butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.
Add whole egg, yolk and vanilla, mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture until well mixed. stir in 1/2 cup of nuts.
Refrigerate 30 min or until dough is easy to handle.
Shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in egg white and remaining nuts.
Bake and press thumb into center. When cool put filling in center and sprinkle with nutmeg.
