Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 18 oz lean flank steak

Preparation

Step 1

In large, resealable bag, combine all ingredients except steak. Add steak. seal bag, squeezing out excess air. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
remove steak from marinade. transfer marinade to small sauce pan. Grill or broil steak, turning once, until medium.
While steak is grilling, bring marinade to a boil. reduce heat to low and simmer 5 mins.
To serve, slice steak against grain and serve with marinade.
