Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
  • 1/8 lb. butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 lb. melted cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 pints warm beer
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. chives
  • 1 lb. Cheez Whiz

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter.
Put into flour and mix with whip until golden brown.
Add broth (hot).
Let come to a boil and stir with a whip often.
Add chopped vegetables.
Cook for 20 minutes.
Add melted cheese and beer.
Let come to a boil.
Serve with popcorn.
