Asian Steak

Ingredients

  • 6 4-oz top sirloin steaks
  • 1/2 c. hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. sesame oil
  • 1/4 c. lite soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. white wine
  • 1/4 c. sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Putting the dinner together
Combine the ingredients in a resealable freezer bag and seal it, dividing equally among the three bags if you are preparing a triple batch. Gently knead the bag to mix the ingredients. Place the bag into a second resealable freezer bag and seal it tightly.

For dinner tonight
Marinate the steaks in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Prepare a hot grill. Grill the steaks for 3 minutes per side, or until done to your liking. Alternatively, heat a nonstick skillet over high heat. Add the steaks and sear for 3 minutes on each side. Remove the steaks from the heat. Meanwhile, boil the marinade for 5 minutes and drizzle it over the top of the steaks.

To freeze
Label, date, and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw before cooking as directed above.
