Ingredients

  • 1 package sage sausage (16 oz. cooked)
  • 1/2 pound day-old bread
  • 1/2 pound baked and crumbled cornbread
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • Additional sage seasoning (if desired)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup onions chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1/3 cup butter melted

Preparation

Step 1

Combine bread, seasoning, broth, and eggs in bowl.
Saute onion and celery in butter. Add cooked sausage.
Spoon into lightly greased 2 quart baking dish.
Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes
