Ingredients
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk or 3/4 cup heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1
Combine oats, peanut butter, coconut, nuts, and vanilla in large bowl; set aside. Combine margarine, cocoa, sugar, and evaporated milk in saucepan. Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Pour over oats mixture. Mix well. Using a cookie scoop, drop on wax paper. Cool.
Note: Do not attempt to make this recipe on a rainy day because the cookies will have a grainy texture.
