Fancy Christmas Spritz Cookies

Breidegam family recipe

Ingredients

3 sticks good margarine
1 cup sugar
2 t vanilla
1 unbeaten egg
1 t baking powder
3 to 4 cups sifted all purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream margarine and sugar
Beat in vanilla
Add egg
Resift flour with baking powder
Add flour to creamed mix 1/4 at a time
Blend by hand
Allow to set for 20-30 minutes
Fill cookie press with dough
Press onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes
