Pecan Cluster Crunch

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Shreddies cereal
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Mix cereal, nuts and cinnamon in large mixing bowl.

Mix brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Boil for 2 minutes WITHOUT stirring and then stir in the baking soda.

Pour over cereal mixture, stir until all pieces are coated. Spread evenly on lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake at 250 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Store in an airtight container.
