CREAM CHEESE APPLE CRISP
Don't remember where I got this recipe... But it's a nice twist on an old favorite

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 15-ounce can chicken broth
- 2 cups cubed potatoes
- 2 cups half and half, or 1 cup milk and 1 cup cream
- 2 15-ounce cans corn, undrained or two cups cooked corn cut from the cob
- 1 1/2 cups diced ham (optional)
- 6 strips bacon, cooked to a crisp and crumbled (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or one tablespoon dried
Preparation
Step 1
Mix apples, juice and 1/3 cup sugar, 3 tbsp flour and salt in dish.
Mix cream cheese, egg, milk and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour over apples
Mix oats, brown sugar, butter and cinammon. Pour over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
