Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. margarine or butter
  • 1 T. instant coffee crystals
  • 1 T. hot water
  • 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Chocolate syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Crust: In lg. mixing bowl, stir together flour, powdered sugar, cocoa, and baking soda; cut in margarine or butter until crumbly. Press flour mixture into bottom of 9x13 inch greased pan. Dissolve instant coffee crystals in hot water. Set aside. In lg. mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk. Add coffee mixture and eggs; beat thoroughly. Pour over hot baked crust. Bake at 350 for 20 min. Cool on wire rack. Cover and keep refrigerated. To serve, cut into bars and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
