Ingredients
- 4 Chicken breasts, boiled and diced
- 1 Pkg mixed frozen vegetables, cooked and drained
- 3 potatoes, diced and cooked
- Gravy
- 12 Tbsp or 3/4 c flour
- 12 Tbsp butter
- 2 c cram or 1/2 and 1/2
- 4 c chicken broth
- Crust
- 4 c flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1-1/3 c shortening
- 10-14 Tbsp cold water
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350. Mix crust (or use store bought) and place in 2 pie dishes.
Gravy:
Melt butter in saucepan. Gradually add flour while stirring continuously. Add cream and broth and mix well until thickened.
Place and layer or chicken, vegetables and potatoes in each pie shell and pour gravy over to fill. Place another shell on top of each and press ends together. Cut and "x" in the tops and bake for 1 hr.
