White Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in med. saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour. Cook 2 min., or until the mixture just barely begins to turn color. Whisk in milk. Reduce heat slightly, and stir in seasonings. Cook until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat and serve warm.
