Garlic Popovers

Ingredients

  • 1 c. all purpose flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Generously grease six 6-oz. custard cups, or 8 cups of a muffin tin. Stir together all ingredients until smooth (do NOT overmix). Fill custard cups 1/2 full, or muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake 20 minutes. Decrease oven temperature to 350 degrees. Bake until crisp and golden brown, about 20 minutes longer. Remove from cups immediately and serve hot.
