  • Glaze:
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water

Step 1

Mix together: sage, salt, pepper and garlic then rub over tenderloin.

Place 1/2 cup water in slow cooker and put in tenderloin.
Cook 6-8 hours on low heat.

1 hour before roast done, mix remaining ingredients in small sauce pan. On medium heat, stir until thickens - about 4 minutes.

Brush roast 2-3 times during last hour of cooking.

For Carmelized crust, remove from crockpot and place on aluminum foil-lined sheet pan. Glaze and set under broiler for 1-2 minutes. Repeat 2-3 times more until desired crust is achieved.
