Apricot Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines White Deluxe Cake Mix
  • 1 can(1lb. 14oz.) apricot halves, drained
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, if desired
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Sour cream, sweetened whipped cream or ice cream

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange apricots in the bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons brown sugar. Blend dry cake mix, nuts, melted butter, and 1 cup brown sugar. (Mixture will be crumbly.) Sprinkle over apricots.

Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm with sour cream, sweetened whipped cream or ice cream.
