Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 T evoo
  • 15-20 cloves peeled garlic
  • 1 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • s/p
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 T four
  • 1 T fresh basil
  • 1 tsp dry basil
  • hot penne

Preparation

Step 1

1. Rinse chicken and dry. Put 1/3 cup flour in plastic bag and coat chicken/

2. In skillet heat evoo. Add chicken and garlic cloves. Cook uncovered medium for 10 minutes. Brown evenly. Reduce heat. Add broth, water, paprika, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered 30 minutes. Remove chicken and keep warm.

3. Crush garlic. Stir in 1/4 cup water, 2 T flour and basil in drippings. Cook til thick and bubbly. Serve over penne
