Layered Spaghetti Hotdish

Ingredients

  • Mix following in another pan:
  • 1 1/2 cups broken spaghetti cooked and drained
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (can use less if you wish)
  • Shredded parmesan cheese
  • Shredded mozarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown the ground beef and onion. Add spaghetti sauce to the beef and onions that are cooked.
In a skillet melt butter, add flour and cook until it bubbles.. Add milk. Add spaghetti that is cooked and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well.

Place in a 9 x 13 pan sprayed with Pam. Pour beef and spaghetti sauce mixture over top of the spaghetti mixture. Sprinkle with parmasan and mozarella chesses.
Bake for 30 min. or so until hot. Can be wrapped in foil and frozen... bake a lot longer if frozen.
I would double the recipe and eat one and freeze one...
