Ingredients
- 12 black tea bags
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 lemon finely sliced
- Ice
- 7 cups cold water

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Add tea bags, cover and steep 15 minutes. Discard bags. Add sugar and lemon. Stir until sugar dissolves. Transfer to a 1 gallon pitcher. Stir in 7 cups cold water. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve over ice.
