Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1 c sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Topping
  • 2 1/2 T melted margarine
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 c chopped nuts

Step 1

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs, flour, sour cream, baking powder, soda, salt and vanilla in that order, beating well. Spread half the batter in ungreased angel food cake pan. Mix together topping and scatter half over batter. Spread rest of batter and top with remaining topping. Bake 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. Cool in pan...do not invert.
