Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or oleo
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Butter 8" square pan.
Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan.
Combine brown sugar and butter and cook over medium heat to soft crack stage (290 degrees on candy thermometer).
Remove from heat and spread over nuts.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over sugar mixture immediately and let soften for about 2 minutes.
Spread chocolate over toffee.
Chill and break into pieces.
