Gnocchi from Nani Mari

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup bisquick
- 2 cups instant potatoes
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 eggs
- 4 T. butter
- 2 T. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. coarse salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a 4 cup Pyrex bowl, heat water, salt, butter and sugar in the microwave until butter and sugar are dissolved. Remove and add instant potatoes. Cool down; add eggs, flour, Bisquick. Mix well with hands until dough is smooth by kneading. Bread off pieces of dough and roll into a rope about 1/2 inch in diameter. Cut into 1/2 inch pieces and roll over fork to form lines that will help sauce to adhere to pasta.
If not using immediately, place on cookie sheet and freeze in a single layer. After frozen put in Ziplock bag until read to use.
