Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup corn oil
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1 lb canned pumpkin
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2/3 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine sugar, oil and eggs
2. Add pumpkin
3. Sift dry ingredients together and add to pumpkin mixture.
4. Add water and nuts.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
6. Makes 3 loaves
