Ingredients
- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 Tablespoons onion, chopped
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 3 Tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/3 cups salad dressing (Miracle Whip)
Preparation
Step 1
Fry bacon until crisp and brown. Drain bacon and crumble into small pieces. Set aside. Saute onion in bacon drippins until tender. Add sugar, vinegar, and water; bring to boiling point. Cool. Combine mixture with salad dressing. Beat until smooth. Stir in bacon chips. Chill. Makes one pint.
