Prune Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c. sugar
• 1 1/2 c. oil
• 3 eggs
• 3 c. flour
• 2 t. baking soda
• 1 t. salt
• 1 t. cinnamon
• 2 c. pitted prunes (chopped)
• 2 c. diced apples
• 1 c. chopped nuts
• Powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Beat sugar, oil and eggs for 2 min.

Combine dry ingredients.

Gradually mix into egg mixture.

Mix in apples, prunes and nuts.

Pour into butter tube pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for approx 1 hr and 30 min until springy to touch.

Cool in pan for 15 min.

Turn out on plate and dust with powdered sugar.
