Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup (Beefy Onion works well)
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs (3 slices)
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- Try 3/4 cup milk instead of water and cook freeform on wire rack covered with foil with slits cut in foil so it will drain. Cover with bacon (12 slices)slightly overlapped.
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 tsp. cider or white vinegar
- Put half of glaze on then bacon strips and bake. Save remainder of glaze for table use.
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all and shape into loaf.
Bake 1 hour or till done at 350 degrees Cool 20 minutes and slice. Bacon will slice better then.
