Ice Box Dessert
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 scant c. hot water
- 1 pkg lemon jello
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 small angel food cake
- 3 egg yoks (beaten)
- 1 small can of crushed pineapple (undrained)
- 1/2 pint cream whipped topping
Let sugar and water come to a boil.
Add jello and lemon juice.
Cool and add beaten egg yolks, pineapple and fold in whipped cream.
Break cake into bite size and lay in the bottom of pan.
Pour cream mixture over cake.
Cover with plastic wrap.
