Speedy Spanish Ric

Ingredients

  • 14 1/2 oz fat free chicken broth
  • 1/2 c bottled salsa
  • 2 c quick cooking (10 min) brown rice

Preparation

Step 1

combine broth and salsa in 2 qt or larger sauce pan that has lid and bring to boil, covered, over high heat. Add rice and reduce to low. Cover and simmer 5 min.

Remove pan fro mheat and uncover to fluff rice with fork. Re-cover and let rice steam off hea for 5 min longer. Serve at once.
