Herbed Chicken & Vegetable Skillet

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter
  • 4 (5-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch wide strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen vegetable combination (broccoli, carrots and onion)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add chicken strips, salt, thyme leaves and pepper. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink (5 to 6 minutes). Add water and vegetable combination. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil (4 to 5 minutes).

Reduce heat to medium. Cover; cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisply tender (10 to 12 minutes).
