Apple Cake

Ingredients

• 2 C sugar
• 1/2 C butter
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp cloves
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 C Flour
• 1 C raisins
• 1 Quart diced apples (4 cups)
• 1/2 C nuts if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and butter - add eggs. Mix dry ingredients. Beat 4 minutes. Stir in apples, raisins and nuts. Pour into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake 350 for 1 hour.
