    c. flour

  • 1 3/4

    c. sugar

    t. baking powder

  • 1

    t. salt

  • 1

    c. shortening

  • 1/2

    c. chopped pecans

  • 1/4

    c. chopped green cherries

  • 1/4

    c. chopped red cherries

  • 3/4

    c. milk

  • 1

    t. rum flavouring

  • 1

    t. vanilla

  • 4

    eggs

  • 1/2

    c. sultanas

  • GLAZE

  • 1

    c. icing sugar

  • 1

    T. milk

  • 1/2

    t. vanilla

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a tube pan. 2. In a large mixer bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. 3. Add shortening, milk and flavourings. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. 4. Add eggs, beat 2 minutes more. 5. Stir in fruit and nuts. 6. Spread evenly in greased tube pan. 7. Bake 60-65 minutes, or til done. 8. Cool. GLAZE 1. Beat together icing sugar, milk and vanilla. 2. Drizzle over cooled cake.
