PEPPERMINT ICE CREAM BON BONS

Ingredients

  • 8 Nabisco chocolate wafer cookies
  • 1 bag (7.5 ounces) peppermint candies, finely crushed
  • 8 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 bottle (7.25 ounces) chocolate-flavored hard shell topping

Place cookies on plate. Place crushed candies in shallow dish. Roll each ice cream ball in candies to coat. Place one candy-coated ball on top of each cookie and press down slightly. Drizzle hard shell topping in lacy pattern over top of each candy-coated ball and cookie. Immediately sprinkle additional crushed candies over topping. (If ice cream balls become too soft at any point, return to freezer for a few minutes before continuing.) Freeze in covered container for several hours or up to one week.
