GRANDPA'S CREPES

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Hamburger
  • 1 bag Tator tots thawed out and broken up
  • 16 oz. Sour cream
  • 16 oz. Cottage chese
  • 1 bag frozen Peas, thawed
  • 1 bag Cheese, about 2 cups (sharp)
  • 1 bag Cheese, about 2 cups (Colby mix)
  • 1 Large can of canned tomatoes
  • 1 Tomato sauce (regular can not small one)
  • Italian season to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Use your favorite crepe recipe to make at least 15 crepes

Preparation

Step 1

Fry up hamburger and then add the broken tator tots and heat through. Remove from heat and mix in the peas. On to each crepe, spread some of the sour cream;
Then add some of the potato mixture; then some cottage cheese. Then add some sharp cheese onto each one and roll them up. Place into a 9x13 inch pan (sprayed with Pam).
To create the sauce, blend up the large can of tomatoes and add in tomato sauce until desired thickness. Add Italian season and salt to taste. (May want to add garlic for flavor…..test this out?)
Pour sauce over top of crepes in the pan and put in 350 degree oven until the sauce is bubbly. Add the Colby cheese mix on top and put back in the oven until the cheese is melted. Serve with more sour cream.
